WHUZZUP! » [#Design] Basic Tips for Color Management In early December, a community of conference-goers explored best practices and new advances in color management at the PIA?s 2016 Color Conference held in Phoenix, Arizona. As a native Phoenician, I didn?t have to travel far for the event but quickly learned that the conference had drawn in interested attendees from every corner of the country?and beyond. John McWade presenting at the 2016 Color Conference Opening my vibrant conference schedule for the first time, I was struck by the scope of the event. There was something for everyone. The conference included a color management primer, brilliant keynote lectures, and cutting-edge product demonstrations. WHUZZUP! » [#Design] Using #Photoshop Templates Do you suffer from Blank Page Syndrome like I do? Instead of staring at the void that is a new document, I often like to start with previous project as a guide, which is why I love using templates as a starting point. Photoshop CC 2017 makes that easy by providing templates and building them right into the workflow for us. When creating a new document (File > New), the re-vamped New Document dialog box includes template options. First, choose the type of document you’d like to create from the categories along the top. The first set of options are blank presets, built to size and resolution for the intended purpose. You can make any necessary changes and even save the new preset for future use by clicking the save icon on the right-hand side of the dialog box. Below the presets are several free pre-designed Adobe templates available for download. You also have the option of browsing through Adobe Stock to buy additional templates, using the search option at the bottom. Click on a template once to view information about the template, such as size, colors used, smart object info, and whether or not the sample images will be [...]

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” is produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
Coogler’s creative brain trust includes his frequent collaborators: director of photography Rachel Morrison, A.S.C. (“Dope,” “Fruitvale Station”), production designer Hannah Beachler (“Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”), editors Claudia Castello (“Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”) and Michael P. Based on the Marvel comic character that first appeared in “Fantastic Four Vol. 1” Issue 52, published in 1966, “Black Panther” joins Marvel Studios’ slate of releases in its Phase 3 commitment to introduce film audiences to new heroes and continue the adventures of fan favorites over the course of four years and nine films.

The juggernaut studio ended the year with its newest Super Hero “Doctor Strange,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rachel McAdams. The film opened #1 at the box office on November 4 and went on to gross more than $659 million worldwide to date. The two films propelled Marvel Studios’ #1 domestic box-office opening streak to a record-breaking 14 consecutive films.
