School of Motion Adobe’s Substance Painter is arguably the industry go-to for texturing 3D models. But this powerful software comes with a lot of challenges if you don’t know your way around it. In this video, follow along with 3D motion designer Luis Miranda as he shows you the ins and outs. You’ll learn best practices for preparing your 3D model, how to properly set up UV mapping, and how to bring over your Substance materials into another 3D program.

Make sure to download the project files (including the models sculpted in Z-brush by Scott Unruh) so you can follow along! Grab them here: https://som.bz/3WDApAK
