I thought we were just Drama Queens?
I’ve blogged about it in the past, mainly poking fun at these overly dramatic people I was arguing with. (You know kind of how we’ll throw the term “Passive Aggressive” for someone who is too chickenshit to say what they mean, or “Stalker” for someone who visits your PUBLIC page more than you’re comfortable with…?)
But Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD) an actual personality disorder, and it’s DANGEROUS for people who stay involved with these toxic people. I am following these message boards, and these people are drained and devastated, yet still clinging on to the hope of their “Epic Loves” coming back to them… as though they were under a spell, while they got their “Fan Club” convinced the poor schmuck is the devil incarnate.
Sick.

I can see why people with Borderline Personality Disorder and Histrionic Personality Disorder flock to the web in droves, drawn to web dramas, blogs, message boards, and to BTR shows for instant attention though…
Bottom line is, don’t believe everything you read online, and look at it with a critical and skeptical eye, ok? Getting involved with these types of people can really drag the fun of the web down and suck the life force out of you on a personal level.
