Just got an email from the Zurich group of Artists formerly known as Etoy…

Well, former no longer…eToys has dropped the lawsuit against Etoy!
(Catch up with “Why Webmasters Should Care“)

Seems like they finally realized the futility of declaring war on artists
(you know, us guys that MAKE the very web that they’re on???)

It’s now official Corporations have LOST every single case of “reverse domain hijacking”….eToys stock, valued Nov. 29th, 1999 at $67.00 per share is worth $19.31 at the time of this writing….

Time to take the protest banners down…looks like E-Commerce will play nice with us for just a little while.
