That the best you got???

It appears some naughty little monkey or two has been HAVING fun in my Guestbook. In the past week or so, I’ve had to DELETE several hundred entries where they just keep pressing “submit”.

I figure it’s more than one because every 2nd or third IP address is the same (yes, I have your IP’s. Read the source code on the Guestbook page, Sherlock.).

Of course since I have an enemy list 2 miles wide I won’t speculate, and I never bothered to run trace routes on your lame ass. I put in a few safeguards, and quite frankly you barely register on my radar as a “nuisance”.

Perhaps if I’m bored one day, I may hunt you down and suck your eyeballs out.
No promises.

I just wanted to use this as an excuse to mention my Guestbook, and I’ll be bringing back the “Guestbook FROM Heaven/Hell” real soon.

I may rig it so the screen explodes in a spammer’s face.
If only I can stop giggling at that thought long enough to write the code.

SoApBoX: Mission Accomplished… uhm, again

You know…

I *TRIED* to be nice. I figured I would stay out of trouble for the next few months so I can fix some things here, I wouldn’t get political until after the political conventions this summer…

I thought my response below was gracious and honest, and then warbloggers had to play let’s gloat and piss all over the place and litter “anti-warblogger” comments, and ruin what was an awesome day for America and Iraq.

So in keeping with the “there’s an equal and opposite reaction” law, here’s the rest of my response of yesterday’s news:
Mission Accomplished… uhm, again

Saddam captured (without political commentary)

Saddam Inssein

This is a good thing.
I choose to side skip all of the disgusting additional commentary I’m hearing on all sides of the debate (for now), and offer my congratulations to the brave men and women of the armed forces who made this victory for decent human beings possible. You rock!

It’s a day for celebration, not for a bunch of left/right wing nutjobs trying to further their agenda and justifications. He was a bad man, who is about to face the music for all of the horrible things he’s done… end of story.

Why does this cartoon offend Warbloggers, anyway?

Chicken Hawk Down – By Tom Tomorrow

Hee hee haw haw HAAAAAAA!!!!
*falls off chair*
(I’m ok.)

It seemed to have caused a stir a week or two back. (I’m late for the party again, what else is new. But Tom Tomorrow nailed in six panels what I have been trying to say for over a year.).

The polls are closed

I’ve closed the comments for the contest…

I’ve got a couple of great submissions FROM Jack, Toxiclabrat, and Crazy Tracy
(Kare is unfortunately ineligible, since after all she owns the diary site in question… but has been a really good sport through all of it.).

Somehow, I thought it would be a no-brainer, but I’m really stuck.
    Q: “What is a bhoomi-bhoomi?”

  • Jack – “An indian word for Mother Earth” (the running gag that followed was priceless)
  • Toxiclabrat – “Man, I thought it was a white version of Bling..Bling..”
  • Crazy Tracy – “It’s lesbian sex, using a dildo, a cordless drill and a sit-and-spin.”

I need some help… people.

Election aftermath

Ahh… the people have spoken.

And they are truly idiots.
However, it’s all about choice. That’s what makes America great, right?
Even if dark days, a lot of despair, doom & gloom are ahead of us. And you just gave the enemies the keys to the kingdom. Hey, that’s cool.

You did your civic duty and got out there to vote, and I’m damn proud of you.

Re-Format

The web is off-kilter.
And like everything bad in this world, I accept full responsibility for it.

One of these days… possibly in the next few months, I am reformatting this page. I want to go for a more “newsier” type format. A “Top Story” and then excerpts to whatever else I put down. You’ll notice I don’t UPDATE much, because most people rarely read past the first post, so I want to make it so they can catch *everything* with a mere glance, and save themselves hours of surfing through crap on the web.

It’s all fun and games here

I made the decision to pull any stories of my families ordeals out of my SoApBoX Section.

The original purpose of it was to tell tales of hardship, endurance and ultimately victory. To give people who found themselves in a similar situation some hope, and possibly a solution…

… the only problem is most people on the web are vindictive idiots.

Must be the heat

As the ugly clusterf*ck that we like to call the blogosphere continues in all its anger and self-righteousness and cowardly trolldom, I have to wonder if perhaps Dan has the right idea.

I have officially hit my “flame quota” for the week.

I’d like to remind you that the “name the newsletter title” contest is still going on for the two or three people on the planet that is still speaking to me.

Attacks on commenters will no longer be tolerated here.
(Unless they’re really really funny. It’s a judgment call)
Disagreement is cool. It sparks discussion.

Well, I’m not quite sure

Well, I’m not quite sure if I’m welcome here anymore but I wanted to point a few things out.

1. The original intention of my post was to point out how Beermary has a track record of mis-reading things and attacking people. It’s now a train wreck gone out of control.

2. Donna and I were two *completely different* incidents totally unrelated to this “anti-gay” thread disaster.

3. Calling someone on my site an asshole makes you no better than these guys swinging off my chandelier and dropping banana peels on my floors right now.

4. I’ve stood by Matt’s remarks in my comments.

I’m not sure where you got the impression that I was delinking you, but I happen to enjoy your topics and your insight, as you’ve been around the block. Whether you wish to write off a slew of us over one topic gone awry… well, that’s your decision, and I’ll respect that.

Maybe it’s the heat. I know I’ve really been edgy the past couple of weeks.

Don’t get up. I know the way out…
